Dan Miller is a student at Creative Growth Art Center in Oakland,CA.  His artwork reflects his perceptions.  Letters and words are repeatedly overdrawn, often creating ink layered masses, hovering on the page and built up to the point of obliteration or destruction of the ground.  Each work contains the written recordings of the artist’s obsession with objects like, light bulbs, electrical sockets, food and the name of cities and people.  Dan continues to work in a variety of media, including drawing, painting, ceramics, wood sculpture, printmaking and other mixed media projects.

Miller has had solo exhibitions at Ricco/ Maresca Gallery and White Columns, New York and has been included in a group of exhibitions at Berkeley Museum, Gavin Brown’s enterprise, The Museum of Everything, London, ABCD, Paris, among many more.
